Transfiguration Orthodox Academy (TOA) is a PK4–8th Grade Orthodox Christian hybrid school serving families throughout Metro Atlanta. Our mission is to partner with families to provide a Christ-centered education that nurtures academic excellence, spiritual growth, and strong character.
Position Overview
TOA is seeking enthusiastic part-time Elementary and Middle School Teachers who are passionate about education and working with children. Candidates from a variety of educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided in our school philosophy and approach.
Responsibilities
- Teach and support students in a positive, Christ-centered environment.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Communicate with parents and school staff.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in school meetings and events as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, or related experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the school.
- Orthodox Christian candidates are strongly preferred.
