In-Home Care Program Manager

Job Overview

Due to the collaborative nature and operational needs of this position, regular on-site, in-person attendance is required.

The In-Home Care Program Manager works as part of the Hellenic Foundation’s In-Home Senior Care team to ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of hourly, non-medical care services for seniors living independently in their homes. This position is responsible for caregiver and client scheduling, program compliance, communication, and administrative oversight.

The Program Manager will participate in team meetings, prepare reports as requested by the Executive Director, and represent the Hellenic Foundation professionally within the community.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Schedule clients and caregivers using home care management software.
  • Maximize authorized client service hours.
  • Monitor schedules and actualized hours to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, care coordinators, and staff.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and other client/caregiver issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with Illinois Department on Aging Community Care Program Administrative Code and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regulations.
  • Perform general administrative and office support tasks.
  • Conduct in-home visits to assess quality of care and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Office management experience strongly preferred; payroll and billing experience highly beneficial.
  • Fluency in Greek required.
  • Conversational Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
