Faculty Position
St. John Chrysostom Academy is seeking faithful, knowledgeable, and dedicated Orthodox educators to join our growing classical Orthodox Christian school.
For the 2026-2027 School Year, the Academy is looking for Grammar school teachers, teachers’ aides, a PE Teacher, and Subject-Expert Teachers for Upper school including Latin and Chemistry.

St. John Chrysostom Academy unites classical education with Orthodox Christian formation. Our students are formed through the study of the liberal arts and the life of the Church, directed toward the Good, the Beautiful, and the True.
We are building a school culture marked by virtue, reverence, intellectual vigor, and Christian charity.
Position Overview
Faculty members are responsible for the instruction and formation of students, guiding them in both academic excellence and growth in virtue. Teachers implement a classical curriculum and cultivate habits of attention, discipline, and thoughtful inquiry.
Responsibilities Include
- Teaching assigned subjects using classical methods
- Maintaining an orderly and attentive classroom
- Assessing and communicating student progress
- Collaborating with faculty and administration
- Supporting the spiritual and moral formation of students
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Subject-area competency and/or Certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to classical Christian education (experience preferred but not required)
Faith Requirement
Applicants must be practicing Orthodox Christians in good standing and able to support the mission and life of the Academy.
