Telos Project Team Coach

About the Telos Project

The Telos Project, an initiative of the CrossRoad Institute, helps Orthodox parishes engage young adults, inspiring them to lead ministry for and with their peers. Through Telos Project coaching, young adults develop meaningful ministry initiatives and engage their peers in the life and leadership of their parish.

This fall 2025, Telos will welcome new parishes into a process that includes a new component: an inspiring five-day conference in Florida designed for young adults - to fuel their vision for their spiritual development and engagement in their parish!

CrossRoad Institute is hiring part-time Telos Team Coaches to guide parish-based teams of young adult volunteers through a process of formation, ideation, development, and implementation.

Ideal Candidate

We hope you will consider applying if you…

  • Feel called to ignite young adults' faith and help them root deeply in the life of the Church—one parish at a time.
  • Come alive when rallying a team around a shared mission, building unity, and celebrating meaningful progress together.
  • Love helping people set bold goals, stay focused, and bring out the best in each other.
  • Bring contagious positivity, grounded patience, and the resilience to keep going when the road gets tough.
  • Are excited to show up—both online and in person—to invest in young adult leaders and walk alongside them in their journey.
  • Believe in the long game: nurturing the next generation of Orthodox leaders through steady, faithful presence and stewardship.

  • Attend and support both CrossRoad 2.0 (March 18-22, 2026) and the Telos Gathering in Chicago (September 2026)
  • Provide feedback to Telos leadership and participate in coach development
