At Saint Sava Academy, the Principal is responsible for providing guidance, effective instructional leadership, and administration of the building. The Principal will provide a safe, inclusive, faith-based, and productive dual-language learning environment for all students and staff in an urban school setting with approximately 177 PreK-8 grade students.

Duties

  • Evaluate staff & provide professional development
  • Support Instruction & Lesson Delivery
  • Directs faith-based culture
  • Create a school schedule & calendar
  • Maintain Parent communication and relations
  • Supervise students
  • Supervise After-School Activities
  • Attend weeknight events as needed
  • Support School Improvement Goals
  • Student Discipline
  • Student Health Management
  • Monitor and balance the School Budget & Tuition
  • Supervise Building Safety & Drills
  • Oversee and supervise custodians and cafeteria staff
  • Maintain the State of Illinois registration and reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.)
  • Christian Faith Required
  • Administration and teaching experience preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Dual Language experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Salary/Benefits

  • 10-month position +14 Days
  • Contracted At-will Employment
  • Regional Competitive Salary; Salary will be competitive to non-public districts similar in size (Student Population: 177 students)
