Pastoral Assistant & Youth Director
Holy Trinity is seeking an energetic and faith-centered individual to serve as Pastoral Assistant & Youth Ministries Director. This role combines hands-on pastoral support with the leadership of youth and young adult programs. The person selected will work in close collaboration with the parish priest, staff, and lay leaders to help nurture parish life and inspire the next generation in their Orthodox Christian faith.
Primary Responsibilities
Pastoral Support:
- Assist the clergy in preparing for and carrying out liturgical services, sacraments, and pastoral events.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the parish office and help manage communication with parishioners.
- Contribute to planning and carrying out parish events and special programs.
Youth & Young Adult Ministry:
- Lead and grow programs for children, teens, and young adults that emphasize spiritual formation, fellowship, and service.
- Help Coordinate Sunday School and youth group activities in cooperation with clergy, Youth Committee, parents, and volunteers.
- Organize retreats, service opportunities, and social events designed to build community and deepen faith.
- Serve as a mentor and role model, encouraging active participation in the life of the Church.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in theology, education, or a related field preferred.
- Background in youth work, teaching, or ministry strongly desired.
- Familiarity with the Orthodox Christian faith, worship, and traditions.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance independent initiative with teamwork.
- Competence in using technology and social media for outreach.
Compensation & Benefits
