About OCF at Texas A&M

Orthodox Christian Fellowship is the official campus ministry of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America. We offer college students rich community in Christ, inspiring a life-long love of God and neighbor.

In 2022, OCF hired our first full-time campus missionary to serve the students at Texas A&M University. The missionary is a full-time pastoral and evangelical presence that serves as a bridge between parish and campus life through direct discipleship and community development.

In its first three years as a campus missionary location, the OCF at A&M has exploded, with 150 students reached in the last academic year alone. To help our campus missionary remain dedicated to cultivating the relationships and rhythm of life that is central to this ministry, we are seeking a part-time administrative assistant to help support in managing the growing administrative and logistical needs of his work.

Position Overview

The Campus Missionary Administrative Assistant is a part-time position of about 10 hours per week.

The work schedule is flexible and task-oriented, but the assistant will be expected to be reasonably responsive (usually same-day) to message communications throughout the week.

Most tasks will be performed digitally. Local/in-person presence is not a requirement.

Compensation

$15/hour
