Parish Administrator
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Charlotte, North Carolina seeks to hire a Parish Administrator to oversee day-to-day office operations, manage staff, and coordinate the booking of Cathedral facilities for sacraments and rentals.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Communicate and coordinate meetings, presentations, and events between the church, staff, Parish Council, and parish volunteers.
- Coordinate and manage facilities rentals/contracts. Communicate with renters and ministries regarding liability insurance, liquor license, security, etc.
- Plan and lead weekly staff meetings. Attend PC monthly meetings.
- Coordinate with Parish Secretary to:
- Maintain parish and Father ‘C’ Hall calendars.
- Oversee coordination of weddings (average 20 per year), rehearsals, appointments with clergy, and communication with couple regarding requirements needed for Ecclesiastical Marriage License.
- Oversee coordination of baptisms (average 55 per year), appointments with clergy, and communication with parents of child.
- Oversee coordination of funerals (average 30 per year). Communicates with family, clergy, and funeral director.
- Coordinate with Parish Financial Secretary to:
- Manage office supplies
- Keep track of inventory
- Make purchases
- Delegate to resolve clergy needs.
- Ensure all background checks and youth protection requirements are up to date for staff and volunteers.
