Organist

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle, NY is seeking an organist to play the organ for our Church Choir during the Sunday Divine Liturgy service. The organist would also be expected to conduct at least two practices per week with choir members, in collaboration with the Choir Director.

The Choir runs from late September thru early June, with a break for the Summer. The Organist would also be expected to perform during Holy Week and Christmas services. 

Previous knowledge of Orthodox Church music is a plus, but not required. Should have ability to sightread, prior experience playing and some understanding of Orthodox Liturgical Rubrics.
