Principal
St. John of San Francisco Orthodox Academy, a small co-ed college preparatory K-12 Orthodox Christian school, has served families in the greater San Francisco Orthodox community for nearly three decades by the mercy of God and thanks to the intercessions of our patron saint, St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco. Our mission is to provide a rigorous Classical education in a loving Orthodox Christian environment. We are an accredited, not-for-profit educational institution with class sizes ranging from 3-5 students. Our pan-Orthodox, independently maintained Board is seeking to recruit our next Principal to head our warm community next year and beyond, following the conclusion of Mrs. Julia Paramonov’s fourth year as Principal in June. Mrs. Paramonov piloted the Academy through pivotal moments in the Academy’s life, especially the COVID-19 pandemic and related city-wide restrictions, and we are excited that she and her family will continue to be part of the St. John’s community.
