Pastoral Assistant
Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell, Ohio is seeking a full-time Pastoral Assistant.
The Pastoral Assistant’s primary focus will be on our youth. Along with assisting Father Steve Denas with pastoral duties, the Pastoral Assistant will take the role of Parish Youth Director.
Preference is given to those who have a Master of Divinity from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology and are seeking ordination in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese.
- Candidate must produce written documentation from our Holy Cross Seminary of successful graduation and earning a Master of Divinity degree with Seminarian track status.
- Candidate must produce a current written letter of recommendation from his spiritual father or father confessor.
- Candidate must produce a current written letter of recommendation and blessing from his originating Metropolitan.
- Candidate must produce a current written letter of recommendation and blessing from our Metropolitan Savas of Pittsburgh.
- Candidate must successfully complete and pass the standard background checks per GOA regulations.
- Candidate must review, agree and sign a statement form that he has read the complete job description (it will be forwarded to him) and be able to perform these responsibilities.
- The Pastoral Assistant must be proficient in Greek.
Archangel Michael is a vibrant Greek Orthodox Community consisting of 600 families near Youngstown, Ohio.
Salary is to be determined based on qualifications.
