Pastoral Assistant/Youth Director Description

Requirements

Serve God and humanity with love.
Serve with Fr. Ari & Fr. George, Deacon
Work with All Youth Ministries; Altar Boys (if male), HOPE, JOY, GOYA, Dancers and YAL
Be a support for Sunday School and Greek School directors
Chant & participate in services and sacraments
Set up for Church services and sacraments.
Render sermons
Do visitations
Work on special projects that may come up
Coordinate Youth Protection Program
Coordinate communication with parents for various ministries to encourage parent involvement
Prepare for Church services.
Practice reading in Greek (If seminarian from Holy Cross.) Basic knowledge of reading in Greek is preferred but not vital)
Attend meetings; Parish Council, Festival and Philoptochos
Help the Office Administrator as needed; Assist Parish Council President; as needed.
