Part Time Middle School/High School Science Teacher
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Teaching experience strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including children and adults with limited English
Job Functions
- Prepare and implement engaging lessons in Earth Science, Physical Science, and Biology or Chemistry for middle school and high school levels using the St. John’s science curricula
- Think creatively and be resourceful in the implementation of labs and science experiments using limited resources
- Assess student achievement using a variety of assessment tools
- Provide feedback to students about their progress in a timely, supportive manner
- Differentiate instruction for students with a variety of modes of learning
- Communicate progress with students and their parents/guardians

- Dependent upon experience
