Office Manager/Ministry Coordinator


  • Monday - Friday (apx. 30 hours per week)
  • Weekend hours may also be required depending on church programs & events


Salary is commensurate with experience.


  • High School graduate and equivalent work-related experience
  • Minimum typing – 35 WPM with accuracy and transcribing experience
  • Strong computer skills are required (i.e. MS Windows, MS Publisher, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google, Quick Books, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Proficiency in the use of standard of office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Have excellent command of English composition, grammar, and punctuation


Oversees all activities of the church office as well as providing oversight to support staff and volunteers. This person will report directly to the Presiding Priest and Parish Council President while working together with all necessary Parish Council members and parishioners when needed.


  • Maintenance and organization of reception area.
  • Constantly looks for ways to improve performance and productivity of workplace.
  • Ordering and maintenance of office supplies and equipment.
  • Organization and maintenance of church calendar.
  • Pick up, distribution and dissemination of mail and correspondence.
  • Screening and routing of all incoming calls.
  • Check email and responds as directed.
  • Type, print, and fold weekly bulletins.
  • Routine filing of necessary paperwork.
  • Prepare, proof, print, and disburse weekly bulletins.
  • Forwards emails to appropriate staff and volunteers.
  • Maintains, up-dates, and organizes all standard forms and ministry literature.
  • Maintains security and integrity of financial materials.
  • Prepares, updates, and maintain an Office Procedures & Reference Manual.
  • Respects privacy and confidentiality of all persons and documents related to Church business.
  • Complies with all organizational regulations, by-laws & policies

  • Is willing and able to work at a fast pace within a variety of settings and circumstances, with composure and flexibility.
  • Is willing to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
