Chanting by Rassem
My name is Rassem El Massih. I am a seminarian at Holy Cross in Brookline. I have been chanting since I was nine years old. My studies in Byzantine music began at age 13. I chant in Arabic, English and Greek. I have lead byzantine choirs, and traveling groups. In addition to being one of the protopsaltis at Holy Cross I am also the protopsalti of St. George Orthodox Church, in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.
Beyond chanting sacraments, I also conduct workshops on chanting, byzantine notation and modes.
I am a kind, personable person. It would be a pleasure to be a part of your big day. In addition to chanting sacraments, I conduct workshops on chanting, byzantine notation and modes.

Chanting is a sacred part of our Orthodox theology and I consider it an aspect of my own personal faith.
