Job Description

Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Bayonne, NJ is in search of a part-time choir director for Divine Liturgy each Sunday as well as services on certain feast days.  All services are done in English with occasional hymns in Slavonic.  

Job Requirements

The ideal applicant will be a practicing Orthodox Christians musically capable of conducting a small choir and also willing to sing alone.  A working knowledge of the order of Orthodox Christian services and familiarity with the eight tones of Common (L’vov-Bakhmetev Obikhod) and Kievan Chant would be extremely helpful.  This individual will be competitively compensated for each service.
