The Annunciation Day School has an opening for a PMO Lead Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Established in 2002, the Annunciation Day School is an accredited Christian private school serving over a hundred students in Preschool- 8th Grade. The Annunciation Day School is known for its small class sizes, technology integration, and focus on students’ academic and social development. Teachers at the Annunciation Day School instill a passion for learning, creativity, and independent thinking through a holistic approach to education.




The ideal candidate will have experience as a Preschool Teacher or Preschool Assistant. Teachers must demonstrate flexibility and have knowledge of Preschool Curriculum.


Job Requirements






·         Implement a developmentally appropriate PMO Program for young children


·         Plan activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of the children in the program


·         Provide weekly and monthly schedules of activities and create weekly lesson plans


·         Develop curriculum that introduces math and literacy concepts


·         Provide various experiences and activities for children including songs, games and story telling


·         Ensure children are supervised at all times


·         Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable


·         Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand


·         Observe children and make note of progress


·         Establish policies and procedures including acceptable disciplinary policies


·         Be familiar with emergency procedures


·         Provide adequate equipment and activities


·         Ensure equipment and the facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
