Job Description

The following list represents the major tasks required of this position. Other duties may be assigned at the Y2AM’s Director’s discretion when conditions demand.

 

Graphic Design:

 

  • Work with Y2AM Director to create new logos and graphics, both for new and existing projects;
  • Get a clear sense of the intended market and purpose of projects;
  • Create multiple concepts for the review of the Y2AM Team;
  • Work with the Y2AM Team to narrow down to final logos and graphics;
  • Develop a Y2AM Style Guide to organize and systemize existing logos and color palettes.

 

 

Publishing and Layout:

  • Work with Y2AM Director to layout promotional fliers, workbooks, and other items related to new and existing projects;
  • Get a clear sense of the intended market and purpose of projects;
  • Create multiple concepts for the review of the Y2AM Team;
  • Work with the Y2AM Team to narrow down to final product;
  • Create multiple versions of publishing materials (both color and black and white) and promotional materials (different aspect ratios and formats for use in websites, emails, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proficient in graphic design (Adobe products preferred);
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, and good multitasking/organizational ability;
  • Punctual and honors deadlines;
  • Reliable and prepared to follow through on a regular workflow;
  • Receptive to feedback and constructive criticism;
  • Good base knowledge of the Orthodox Church and its teachings preferred;
  • Fluent in English.
