Job Description


Assist Y2AM in uploading material to new website, maintaining database of online assets, and assist in other projects as needed. 



The following list represents the major tasks required of this position. Other duties may be assigned at the Y2AM’s Director’s discretion.


Administrative Duties:

·      Answer phone calls in the absence of the Administrative Coordinator and take messages as needed.


Web Development:

·      Migrate content from existing Y2AM websites into Liferay system;

·      Input new content into Liferay system;

·      Ensure that all content is appropriately and thoroughly tagged and sorted.


Database Management:

·      Organize and administer database of images and graphics used in social media outreach;

·      Identify need for new images (and assist in creation as needed).


Research and Writing:

·      Assist, as needed, in the drafting and editing of blogs, scripts, press releases, and other writings;

·      Research theological or other sources to find supporting documentation for writings.

·      Flexibility and ability to take on (and successfully complete) new projects as needed;

·      Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills;

·      Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, and good multitasking/organizational ability;

·      Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field;

·      Good base knowledge of the Orthodox Church and it’s teachings;

·      Fluent in English.
